Set Upper and Lower Limits

Set the upper and lower limits after the installation procedure is complete and you have verified the
proper movement of the hoist. This is done using the limit switch adjustment screws at the rear of the
hoist near the local controls.
Overtravel Limits
Overtravel limits are set at the ETC factory as a relative measurement [approximately 6" (152mm)] to
the upper and lower limits set by the installer. In other words, upper overtravel will be set at roughly 6"
above the upper limit. The lower overtravel will be set at roughly 6" below the lower limit.
Regardless of where you set the upper and lower limits, the overtravel limits will be approximately 6"
beyond these limits.

System Setup and Test
Do not run the hoist below its original low trim position, as there is no more
cable on the drum. Doing so could cause hoist malfunction and possibly
damage the liftlines.
