Damage to the battery can be caused by wear, sub-
standard charging procedures or a faulty charger.
With an empty battery or a low battery level, the bat-
tery risks an inferior performance and a shorter lifes-
time etc. To protect the battery of a rested lift trolley,
charging needs to be done at intervals.

Caution when handling the
batteries and their terminals.

Electrical hazard!
Even if the battery indicates a full charge, it may be
necessary to replace it with a new one. After charge,
check the battey by raiseing and lowering the load car-
rier a few times. Rest the trolley for 5 minutes and then
read out the battery voltage. Has the voltage dropped
and stayed below 25V replace the battery.
Depending on the amount of lifting and the weight of
the load handled, batteries may need to be replaced at
a higher idle voltage than 25V.
Used batteries should be handed in to a recycling
center.
