Chapter 8. Site Preparation

8. Site Preparation
The chapter will describe the general information needed for planning and installing
an online data collection system. It includes: terminal mounting preparation,
network installation, wiring and power requirements.
8.1.

Terminal Mounting Preparation

The MR350MKII may be installed in either of two ways:
1) Using the standard wall mounting mechanism to install the MR350MKII
on any flat surface.
2) Using the optional work bench mounting kit to install the MR350MKII
on desktop or work bench.

8.1.1. Preparation for standard wall mounting mechanism

(If you are not using the standard wall mounting mechanism, you may go to the next
section.)

Installation preparation:
1) Select a location for the terminal which will allow for convenient user
operation. Make sure there is enough room to mount the terminal and
allow easy removal for maintenance.
