Chapter 2 Using the Hardware Using the Keypad MT180 contains five function keys and twelve numeric keys. Talk Function Keys Numeric Keys The following table describes the function keys. Chapter 2 Using the Hardware Click User/User Management. Right click All group. Select Append/Group. The UserGroup Setting window appears. Enter a group name, DEMO, for example. Click Apply, and then OK. Right click on the created group DEMO. Select Append/Member. The User Setting window appears.
Under the SysSet2 tab, enter a card number in the Card No field and click Card No Query but- ton. Chapter 2 Using the Hardware Using DECT Phone (Optional) MT180 has an optional DECT module that enables you to make intercom calls. The procedures for reg- istering MT180 to DECT base stations may vary between phone service providers. MT180 can register up to four base stations.

Chapter 3 On-Screen Setting Enter the Long Time Door option. You can enable/ disable the door open for a long period. Whether you select Turn on or Turn off, you have to follow the on-screen prompt to swipe your card before this setting is activated and the screen displays “Auto-opening door turn on/ off”.

Shift Attendance Follow instructions below to utilize MTTool to manage time and attendance. Set MT180 and your computer on the same subnet network. Execute MTTool on your computer. Under SysSet1 tab in MTTool, select WinSocket and input the IP address, 192.168.110.230, for example.
