2.8.4. Installing Modem Board -- MR052M
MR052M Modem Board is designed for remote communication use
through telephone line. Available communication baud rate is up to
33600 bps modem to modem.
Installation :
(1) Open the MR350MKII terminal.
(2) Unlock the main board with care.
(3) Connect MR052M with main board (see figure 2-20).
(4) Adjust jumper setting : short Pin 1 & Pin 2 through jumper 11 ~ jumper
14 on CPU board. (Default)
(5) Restore the main board to terminal.
(6) From back plate, you could find the Phone-line/Ethernet jack.
(see figure 2-6).
Notice : If the Phone-line/Ethernet jack was covered by wall mounting
installation, then connect to Terminal Block P2A/LNT, P2C/LNR
port connectors (behind back plate) was the other choice. (refer to
Figure 2-14 Terminal block pin designations)
