Remove the dust seal. upper taper roller bearing and steering
stem from the head
pipe.

Replacement
Remove the lower taper roller bearing and dust seal from the
steering
stem
.
NOTE
Avoid damaging the steering stem threads, temporarily
install the stem
nut.
Remove
the upper
and lower bearing outer races from the head
pipe.
