Clutch/Kickstarter/Gearshift Linkage
Right Crankcase Cover
Removal
Drain the coolant (page 5-3).
Drain the transmission oil.
Remove the following:
- Expansion chamber (page 2-4)
- Brake pedal (page 1 3-14)
- Kickstarter pedal
- Right exhaust valve cover and exhaust valve rod (page 7-4)
Disconnect the radiator hoses from the right crankcase cover .
Remove the crankcase cover bolts and right c rankcase cover.
Remove the gasket and dowel pins.
Installation
Place a new gasket on the right crankcase cover and cut the
end of the gasket f lush wit h the end as shown.
Install the dowel pins and new gasket.
