MANUAL
is to hold up a strong light as close as possible to
the element. An even, bright pattern of light
through the wire element means the element is
clean. A dull pattern of light through the wire
element means the element is partially plug with
dirt and should be washed or replaced.

Check element assembly with

Wash element assembly
thoroughly with solvent

It the element is even partially plugged with dirt,
lmt or chaff, wash it thoroughly with solvent.
Then blow out with compressed air.

Inspect the lower portion of the body assembly
and center tube each time the oil cup is serviced.
Blow out any dirt with
compressed air
Inspect lower portion of the
body assembly
Assemble bottom oil cup to
body assembly
9.
Reassemble the removable element ,assembly to
serviced oil cups and to air cleaner body. Be sure
the oil cup is tight to body assembly.
