limit, replace the clutch ring (9). If the clearance
is still too. large replace also worm screw ( 4 ).
8.
Insert the springs (14) and (15).
9.
Compress the springs (14) and (15) with a tool
and fit rack ( 13 ). Make sure that the springs are
correctly placed on the abutment of the rack.
10. Stick gasket (27) to cover (21) by means of a thin
coating of a suitable sealing compound. Remove
superfluous compound.
11. Replace control arm lever assembly (21) in
position on housing ( 1 ), ensuring that the tongue
of rack ( 13) enters the gap in the control arm
lever assembly (21 ). Fix the unit with six Philips
countersunk head screws.
