Installing the Device
Preparations
Note: Engineers who install such switches for the first time should read the RG-S8600E Series Switch
Hardware Installation and Reference Guide.
Safety notes:
 Do not install the device in a moist place and keep the device away from liquid.
 Do not wear loose clothes during installation, to avoid hooking components and causing damage. Therefore, fasten
clothes ribbons, scarves, and sleeves.
 Place tools and components away from passageways to prevent collision.
 Carefully check whether hidden risks exist in the work area, for example, the power supply is not grounded, the
power supply is not grounded securely, or the ground is wet.
