Preparations
Pre-installation confirmation
 The depth of the cabinet for accommodating an S8610E switch chassis must be
100 cm. (80cm for S8607E and S8605E).
 Whether the installation place meets device ventilation requirements:
sides and around the rear panel of the chassis.
 Whether the installation place meets device temperature and relative humidity requirements: temperature
in the range of 0°C to 50°C and relative humidity in the range of 10% to 90%.
 Whether the power supply is deployed at the installation place and current requirements are met:
Rated voltage range in the case of AC input: 100-240 V~, 50-60 Hz
Maximum voltage range in the case of AC input: 90-264 V~, 50-60 Hz
Rated voltage range in the case of DC input: -48 V DC
Maximum voltage range in the case of DC input: -36 V DC to -75 V DC
16 A national standard-compliant power cable (applicable to 1600 W AC power supply) --
to the power strip.
10 A national standard-compliant power cable (applicable to 600 W AC power supply) --
to the power strip.
50 A DC power cable (applicable to 1600 W DC power supply)
20 A DC power cable (applicable to 600 W DC power supply)
 Whether network cables can be laid out at the installation place.
