One type of air filter modules are installed at the bottom of the chassis (used for preventing dusts for line card and supervisor slots), as shown in the following figure on the left, and the other type of air filter modules are installed inside the front fan panel (used for preventing dusts for FE card slots), as shown in the following figure on the right.
