How to Enter Text
Exiting from the Text Memory Mode
TEXT I N / O U T
P r e s s t h e T E X T I N / O U T K e y
when text is not to be printed
in the Text Memory Mode.
The
following message
ap-
pears on the LCD Display and
you can exit from the Text
Memory Mode.
TEXT MODE END
TEXT I N / O U T
Set the left and right mar-
gins, tabs and
printing
pitch.
These margins and print-
ing pitch are stored in the
memory.
P r e s s t h e T E X T
I N / O U T
Key, select a file which
does not contain text and
enter the Text Memory
Mode.
Functions Stored in the Text Memory
• Margins
The present margin settings
will be stored in the Text
Memory.
• Pitch
The present pitch settings
will be stored in the Text
Memory.
•Tabs
The space positions will be
stored in the Text Memory as
permanent space positions.
•Underlined
Can be set freely.

Enter the text
without
taking note of the mar-
gins.
The text appears on the
LCD Display and
thus
can be checked while it is
entered.
If the right margin is ex-
ceeded, the
Word-wrap
Function
automatically
moves the last word to the
next line.
• Press the RETURN Key
only when required at
the end of a phrase or
when preparing tables.
The return mark "+J"
will then appear on the
LCD Display.
TEXT I N / O U T
Upon completion of the
entry, press the TEXT IN/
OUT Key to exit from the
Text Memory Mode.
