REPLACING THE CUPWHEEL

1 Set the POWER Switch to the " O F F " position.

When the plug of the AC Adaptor is connected,
disconnect the plug from the External Power

Raise the Paper Support, and open the Pitch
Scale.

place t h e T y p e w r i t e r o n its b a c k .
R e m o v e t h e B o t t o m C o v e r Lid by sliding it
t o t h e right side.
3 Using your hand, gently move the Carriage to the
right side.
Grasp the Lever of the Cupwheel Printing
Element between your fingers to release the lock.
Then pull it directly out as shown in the figure.
