Paragraph Indent
I .
External Mode
This function is used when sentences are to be typed
temporarily indented to the right.
•Setting
P INDENT
Press the 7 Key together with
the CODE Key.
When pressed, the " • " mark
on the LCD Display appears
and paragraph indent is set.
When pressed again, the " Y "
mark disappears and press the
RETURN Key to return to the
left margin.
. . Paragraph Indent setting
This function is used when print-out data is received
from a computer using the Interface Adaptor RP-
K100, which is obtained separately.
•Setting

EXT
Press the 8 Key together with
the CODE Key.
When pressed, the
mark
on the LCD Display appears
above "EXT: ON L I N E " and,
at the same time, the keyboard
display and operation display
" A " mark disappears. Also
the words "EXT: ON L I N E "
will appear, indicating that the
External Mode has been set.
•Operation
Space Bar
Move the carriage to the
position where the indent
is to be set by using the
Space
Bar
or
BACK
SPACE Key.

Press the 7 Key together
with the CODE Key. The
present position of the
carriage is set as the tem-
porary left margin.

Type the characters.
When the RETURN Key
is pressed, the carriage
moves to the indent posi-
tion on the next line.
Continue to type.
•The Paragraph Indent Mode does not function
outside the left or right margin.
•When the margin is reset, the Paragraph Indent
Mode will be cancelled.
