a . Using Household AC Power
Connect the AC Adaptor as shown in the figure.

The Panasonic RP-K901 Ni-Cd Battery Pack (option-
al) can be Charged by inserting it into the Ni-Cd
Rechargeable Battery Compartment and connecting
the Panasonic RP-K942 AC Adaptor (included).
• B e f o r e using the Ni-Cd Battery Pack for the first
time, be sure to charge it.
• T h e time required to fully charge the Ni-Cd Battery
Pack is about 8 hours.
• T h e RK-T25 can be operated even while the Ni-Cd
Battery Pack is being charged however, the charging
time will be greatly increased. This will prevent the
Ni-Cd Battery Pack from being completely charged.
For this reason, Panasonic recommends that the
POWER Switch be in the " O F F " position when
charging the Ni-Cd Battery Pack.
• D o not under any circumstances use an Ni-Cd
Battery Pack other than the specified type (RP-
K901).
• If the Ni-Cd Battery Pack quickly runs down after it
has been completely charged, it has reached the end
of its life. In this case, replace the Ni-Cd Battery
Pack with a new one.
• T h e Ni-Cd Battery Pack will discharge naturally
even when it is not used.
To prevent deterioration of the batteries, it is
recommended that you use the Ni-Cd Battery Pack
at least once or twice every three months.
• D o not store the Ni-Cd Battery Pack in areas prone
to high-temperature or high-humidity.
•Always use the Panasonic RP-K942 AC Adaptor
(included) and no other model.
• A breakdown or failure may result when an adaptor
with a different voltage or polarities is used.
