Hold the knob of the Cupwheel Print Element
and turn it slightly to check that it rotates freely.

Insert another Cupwheel Print Element so that
the shaft enters the hole in the center of the
element.
• Insert the element so that it will not get caught
by the Ribbon.
Slide the Bottom Cover Lid to its closed position.

Before setting the POWER Switch to " O N " ,
confirm that the Cupwheel Print Element has not

been caught by the Ribbon.
If the Element has been caught, remove the
Ribbon Cassette and install it again.
Refer to pages 14 and 15.
If the power is switched on while the Cupwheel Print
Element is incorrectly installed, the buzzer will
sound.
In this case, set the POWER Switch to "OFF" and
install the Cupwheel Print Element correctly.
