Pitches
Between two and four characters and symbols are
contained in each key. The keyboard mode is thus
selected to differentiate between these characters and
symbols.
•Setting
Press the 2 Key together with
the CODE Key.
Each time the keys are press-
ed, the " A " mark on the LCD
Display
alternates
between
" K B I " and "KBII". Set to the
desired mode.

The characters and symbols on the left

side of the key can be typed.
KBII
The characters and symbols on the
A
right side of the key can be typed.

•Combinations with accent symbols (dead keys)
The following combinations are possible.
Since the five accent symbols
(.. ^ v a -) are used together
with
other
characters,
the
carriage does not move after
these symbols are printed.
R e p e a t Functions
The following keys have a repeat function when they
are continuously pressed:
•Space Bar
*FWD Key
•BACK SPACE Key
•RETURN Key
Set according to the pitch of the Cupwheel Print
Element being used.
•Setting
Press the 3 Key together with
the CODE Key.
Every time these keys are
pressed, the " A " mark on the
LCD Display alternates be-
tween "10", "12" and "15".
Set to the desired pitch.

12 characters per inch (2.54 cm) can
