REPLACING THE CORRECTION

1 Remove the Ribbon Cassette by following steps
1, 2 and 3 of " R E P L A C I N G T H E RIBBON
CASSETTE".
2 Remove the used Correction Tape by pulling the
Tape Spools outwards on both sides.

3 Place the new Correction Tape with the Full
Spool on the left side, and then pass the tape
between the Card Holder and the Ribbon
Guides.

• M a k e sure that the inner surface of the tape on the
spool faces toward the Platen.
4 Turn the right spool clockwise until the white
tape appears at the center of the Card Holder.

5 Install the Ribbon Cassette properly. (Follow the
steps 5 through 7 of " R E P L A C I N G T H E RIB-
BON CASSETTE".)
Always set the POWER Switch to "OFF" before
exchanging the Correction Tape.
Do not touch the Carriage while the power is "ON".
