USE AS A PRINTER
RS-232C I n t e r f a c e C a b l e s
(Optional Accessories)
This unit can be used as a printer to print data
received from a computer via the optional RP-K100
Interface Adaptor.
• U s e the unit in the " E X T " External Mode.
The following two types of interface are available:
•Serial (RS-232C)
• Transmission speed: 300 Baud
• Data length: 8 bits
• Stop bit: 1 or 2 bits
• Parity: None
•Parallel (Centronics specifications)
a . Connection to a Computer
•Switch off the power before proceeding with the
connections.
•Before connecting the computer, refer to the oper-
ating instructions for the RP-K100.

• W h e n you wish to use the unit as a printer, use the
Panasonic A C Adaptor RP-K942 (included).
• T u r n on the unit's power before starting to transmit
data from the computer via the RP-K100 Interface
Adaptor.
• You can temporarily stop printing by pressing the
PRINT ON/OFF Key on the RK-T25.
When the unit is not printing, the following indica-
tion will appear.
I EXT : OFF LINEL
•While data is being received by the Interface
Adaptor, the carriage automatically returns when it
reaches the right margin. The paper advances one
line and printing continues.
•If the unit's power is switched off and printing is
forcibly stopped while data is being transmitted, the
data will remain in the buffer memory of the
RP-K100 Interface Adaptor.
When printing is to be resumed, stop the transmis-
sion from the computer and turn off the power of
the RP-K100 Interface Adaptor to clear the buffer
memory.
