Entering into the Text Memory Mode

Press the TEXT IN/OUT
Key. The following mes-
sage is indicated for about
a second on the LCD dis-
play.
TEXT MODE
• T h e LCD Display mes-
sage then changes to:

The text memory can be
divided into 9 files for use
with numbers 1 through 9
(using the number keys).
Enter the number of the
file to be used.
If there is no text in the
designated file, the fol-
lowing appears and you
can enter the text.
(Ex. you select file 1)

If text has already been
entered in the designated
file, the following mes-
sage appears for about a
second:
SELECT MARGIN
• T h e messages on the
LCD Display appear
alternately:
1 s CURRENT
2 5 STORED
CURRENT:
The text is both displayed and
printed with the margins which
were set upon entry into the
Text Memory Mode. Printing
starts from the carriage posi-
tion.
STORED:
The text is both displayed and
printed with the margins which
were stored when the text was
entered in the text memory.
Printing starts from the left
margin stored in the Text
Memory. When the carriage is
not at the left margin, it moves
automatically to the left mar-
gin.
Press the 1 or 2 Key to
select the margins.

The stored text will be
displayed.
