Connecting Power

The RUGGEDCOM RSG908C features two input terminals that allow the device to be
powered by:

The RUGGEDCOM RSG908C is a dual input power supply system. Due to this
structure, induced voltages will be observed between the positive/live and chassis/
ground terminals, and between the negative/neutral and chassis/ground terminals.
Electrical hazard – risk of damage to the device
Do not connect more than one HI AC/DC power supply to the device. Connecting
more than one HI AC power supply could result in electrical damage to the device.
Electrical hazard – risk of power disruption
Due to power supply safety features, some AC/DC voltage will be coupled to
the redundant power terminals (between the positive/live and chassis/ground
terminals, and between the negative/neutral and chassis/ground terminals). While
