Self test

You can perform a self test to check the functionality of the accelerometer.
Incorrect measured values during the self test
While the self test is running, the measured acceleration values do not correspond to the real acceleration.
• Ignore the measured values that are output during the self test.
Procedure
1. Give a positive edge to the variable "AI Acc Outputs" > "Start self test".
ð The self test is started.
2. Wait until the variable "AI Acc X Inputs" > "Status" > "Self test status" takes the value 1.
ð The self test is running.
3. Wait until the variable "AI Acc X Inputs" > "Status" > "Self test status" takes a value unequal to 1.
ð The self test is completed.
4. Evaluate the result according to the table below.
5. Set the variable "AI Acc Outputs" > "Start self test" back to 0.
ð The variable "AI Acc X Inputs" > "Status" > "Self test status" takes the value 0.
