Measured value noise

If you set a higher measured value resolution than the factory setting, the measured value will be noisy. The
setting of the measured value resolution is described in the chapter Measured value resolution [} 28].
Minimize noise
You can minimize the measured value noise with the following settings:
• Reduce the measuring range.
Select the smallest possible measuring range "Range" that covers the accelerations expected in your
application. See chapter Measuring range [} 27].
• Disable the measured value filters of the box to be able to set the sampling rate (chapter Measured
value filter [} 30]). Filter in the PLC instead.
• Select the sampling rate as low as possible; necessarily lower than the EtherCAT data rate
(frames / sec). See chapter Sampling rate [} 29].
