Section 5: Ground Fault Indication (If Equipped)

5-1. This section describes the Ground Fault
Indication feature, located by selecting the Dealer Screen
(
) → Edit Settings → Ground Fault.
Power Zone 410 generators have CTs on all phases to
provide phase current measurements. This data is used
to calculate system current, powers, and PF (power fac-
tor). The new feature of indicating large Ground Fault
currents will use data from the existing CTs to compute
the current going to both ground and neutral. This value
will be compared to the customer-defined threshold and
will indicate when that threshold is exceeded for a cus-
tomer-defined delay time.

Requirements

GFI function is an optional function and needs to
be ordered with the system requirement.
ONLY available to three-phase units.
NOTE: Does not apply to single-phase units.
