OPERATION
Test
This terminal has a built-in series of tests used for
servicing.
These tests check the ROM and RAM
,
filling the screen with all
characters from the character
set,
and beeping when the tests
are successful. The tests automatically repeat until a failure is
detected or you exit from them by pressing any
key.
To activate this test function (of Setup Menu G), press the
~key
.
To exit from the
tests,
press any
key.
Any errors found will be displayed and printed out of the port
you did not select during the setup configuration.
NOTE

If you experience a failure during this test function
,
consult the "In Case of
Difficulty"
section of this Manual, or
contact your Zenith Data Systems Dealer for service.
