BAUD RATE
Your Z-29 Terminal can use a wide number of baud rates to
communicate with its host computer: 75, 11 O, 150, 300, 600,
1200, 1800, 2400, 4800, 9600, and 19200 baud. The sample
illustrated
shows 9600 baud selected.
You can change the baud rate by pressing the
ii
key. The cur-
rent baud rate will be stepped to the next available baud rate.
If you do not want that rate, continue pressing the
ii
key until
you reach the baud rate that you want to use. When you reach
19200, the next rate displayed will be 75 baud.
Please note that the number of data bits and the number of stop
bits are not programmable at the Terminal. Your Z-29 Terminal
uses seven data bits and one stop bit at all baud rates except
75 and 110 baud. These last two utilize two stop bits.
