OPERATION
You may select any one of four different cursor formats by
pressing
the~
key on the main keyboard. The cursor type and
display are:
Cursor Type
block (reverse space)
underline
blinking block
blinking underline
LINE FREQUENCY
Display
block
underline
blnk blck
blnk lrne
The scan rate of the display depends on your local AC line
frequency: 60 Hz in areas served by 60 Hz AC lines and
50 Hz in areas served by 50 Hz AC lines. The nominal line
frequency for the United States is 60 Hz.
You can change the scan rate frequency by pressing
the~
key on the main keyboard.
Setup Menu G
To enter Setup Menu G, press the
~
key if you are in the
Setup
Mode.
If you are not in the Setup Mode, press the
f§'jllJij
key and then
the~
key. The bottom line will display:

CHARACTER SETS
Your Z-29 Terminal is supplied with two character sets. Both
sets are illustrated in Appendix A (see Pages A.5 and A.8)
.
In most instances, you will use the normal character set. How-
ever, there may be times when you will want to access some
of the special characters available in the alternate set.
You can enable or disable the alternate character set by
pressing the
ii
key on the main keyboard.
