BUILT-IN DIAGNOSTICS
As soon as you turn your Z-29 Terminal on, it will quickly
perform a seriesof diagnostic tests to ensure proper operation.
If it finds any faults, it will display an appropriate error mes-
sage. If it does not find any faults, a short beep will be emitted.
The error message will print out of the port you did
not
select
during the Setup Configuration.
The same diagnostic tests are performed when the Terminal is
reset. To reset the Terminal, press the
&HU:ii
AND
l;l:J-1$1i
1:1;1143
keys at the same time.
The following tests are performed and, if a fault is found, the re-
spective error message will be displayed. If you receive an error
message, refer to the "In Case of Difficulty" section for further
information and instructions.
