INSTALLATION
Introduction
You will find your Z-29 Terminal easiest to use if all the compo-
nents are located in the same general area. A good solid
work surface (like you would use for a typewriter) that is near
a power source and a telephone (if an RS-232 modem is
to be used) will prove best. The Z-29 Terminal will work over
the wide range of temperature and humidity conditions listed
in the "Specifications" section of this Manual.
Your Zenith Data Systems Z-29 Terminal has two main com-
ponents: a video monitor and a detached keyboard. The two
are connected to each other with an 8-foot coiled cord. In
addition to this Manual and the components listed, you will
also find one RS-232 cable. If you need more than one cable
or one with different connectors, contact your local Zenith Data
Systems dealer.
