OPERATION
CLOCK
The Z-29 has 24- hour clock which is displayed on the status
line. Tosettheclock:
O
Press the
ii
key. The bottom line will display:
Enter hours
>
O
Enter a one or two digit number between 0 and 23 from the
main keyboard and press the
l;l:illl;W
key. The bottom
line will display:
Enter minutes
>
O
Enter a one or two digit number between 0 and 59 from the
main keyboard and press the
liHilll;W
key. The clock will
be set to the time you entered the moment you complete
the entry.
NOTE: Any illegal entry will cause the display to return to
the menu with no changes
made.
Press the
l:r+tlt;+'1:Zw1tJ3
or
1•1::!1!$1ii3
key to clear the entire
entry.
STATUS LINE
The Status line on the CRT displays the following information
for operator convenience: 24-hour clock; CAPS LOCK if the
caps lock is on; OFF LINE if the Z-29 Terminal is in the Off
Line Mode; and INSERT MODE if the Terminal is in the Insert
Mode.
The clock will always be displayed unless the Status line is
turned off or the 25th line has been turned on by a software
command in a program. If the Status line is enabled, it will
always appear as long as the 25th line is
disabled.
You can turn the Status line display on or off by pressing
the~
key on the main keyboard.
