Switching on, operation

Plugging in the
mains cable and
switching on the
Danger from electrical current
device
This may result in serious injuries or death.
Risk of poor acclimatization of components by connecting the device to the grid
too early
This can result in damage to the device.
IMPORTANT!
Danger of insufficient or non-existent power supply to the device
The device may remain inoperative after being switched on or may fail during op-
eration.

WARNING!
Only use the supplied mains cable to connect to the grid.
Only connect the mains cable to a properly grounded socket.
CAUTION!
Do not connect the device to the grid and switch it on until 4 hours after the
setup has been completed.
When connecting the mains cable to the Welducation Simulator as explained
below, make sure that the mains cable audibly clicks into place at the con-
nection on the Welducation Simulator.
Ensure that the end device (tablet, smartphone, notebook, PC, etc.) has
booted up with the Welducation Campus software and that there is a connec-
tion to the Welducation Simulator, in accordance with the operating variants
listed below.

The information on the Welducation Campus software can be found in
the corresponding chapter.

Standalone (OFFLINE):
Direct connection to the Welducation Simulator via a WLAN hotspot of
the Welducation Simulator (SSID=SN).

Cloud (ONLINE):
Connection to the Welducation Simulator via the Internet.
Plug the mains cable into the con-

nection on the Welducation Simu-
lator.

Plug in the mains cable.

Turn the mains cable 45° to
the right until it audibly locks
into place.
Plug the mains cable into a suitable

socket.
Switch the power switch to the -I-

position.
