1DLE MIXTURE ADJUSTMENT

A
WARNING:
To
avoid personal Injury,
disengage
all drives and
engage park
brake.
It
is necessary
to
have the engine running
for
this
procedure.
Be sure everyone in
the
area
is
aware
that the machine is being
serviced.
Use extreme care
when
working
around
moving
parts. Never wear loose fitting clothing or dangling
items
such
as scarves or
bracaets. Keep
hands,
feet,
clothing
and hair
away
from
moving
parts.
If
engine runs
unevenly when Idling, the fuel/air
mixture can be adjusted using screw (A) on
carburetor.
To adjust:
1.
With throttle lever at low idle position (fully
back),
and engine
running,
turn screw (A) in or
out until engine runs evenly.
2.
Move throttle lever fully forward and back to Idle
position.
Engine should settle and run evenly
without tendency to
stall.
