7.8 Configuring Motorized Opening and
Closing of the Draft Shield
Pressing the palm-operated key on the operating display of the device
enables the doors of the draft shield to be opened and closed motorically.
The draft shield has a learning capability which enables the following
opening parameters to be saved:
— It is possible to control all doors together or individually.
— The opening angle of the doors can be configured.
Requirements
The application for use of the motorized draft shield is activated.
Procedure
Close all draft shield doors.

To determine how far a door is opened by pressing the palm-operated

key: Manually push the door open to the desired position.
If several doors are to be controlled by the palm-operated key
t
simultaneously: Manually push the desired doors open to the desired
position.
Press the desired palm-operated key.

All open doors are closed.

The settings for motorized opening and closing of the draft shield are

saved.

Assigning a Password

Procedure
Log into the device using the user profile for which a password needs to

be assigned.
Open the "Settings / User Management" menu.

Press the [Edit Password] button.

The user password input field is displayed.

Enter the desired password in the entry field and confirm with the [OK]
