Type of control EtherNet/IP dPro EI

Products with dPro EI functionality are intended for ope-
ration in EtherNet/IP networks. They are certified by the
ODVA and can be controlled by controllers from different
manufacturers, e.g. Rockwell or Schneider. The interac-
tion with Rockwell controllers has been tested.
They can be controlled via different variants: Quickstart or
manufacturer objects. Our recommendation is to control
the dPro EI electronics via Quickstart commands, as this
enables fast commissioning.
The products can be operated in the following modes:
» Current controller mode.

There you will also find the "Drive Assistant 5" commis-
sioning software, which supports the commissioning of
products with dPro EI functionality.

will find a commissioning guide „Let's connect" to diffe-
rent controllers. For commissioning products with dPro
EI functionality, you need either the „Drive Assistant 5"
software or a Rockwell controller with the corresponding
commissioning software.
For the latter, you can obtain the appropriate EDS file in
our download area.
The dPro EI electronics support addressing via BootP and
DHCP as well as Address Conflict Detection. This makes
it easy to commission and integrate into your system.
Commissioning via Rockwell Studio 5000 is fully suppor-
ted and very easy.

Ansteuerungsvariante EtherNet/IP dPro EI

Produkte mit dPro EI Funktionalität sind für den Betrieb
in EtherNet/IP Netzwerken vorgesehen. Sie sind von der
ODVA zertifiziert und können von Steuerungen unter-
schiedlicher Hersteller angesteuert werden, z. B. Rock-
well oder Schneider. Das Zusammenspiel mit Rockwell
Steuerungen ist getestet.
Sie können über verschiedene Varianten angesteuert
werden: Quickstart oder Herstellerobjekte. Unsere Emp-
fehlung ist, die dPro EI Elektronik über Quickstart Befehle
anzusteuern, da damit eine schnelle Inbetriebnahme
möglich ist.
