The level of the batteries is displayed under the pictogram
representing each element concerned.
Battery life is longer than 1 year but may vary depending on
weather and usage conditions.
As soon as the level is at "Low Batteries", the batteries must
be changed: (Radio Relay: 4 X LR6/Inner Display: 4 X LR6), see
Alkaline battery replacement [
The network radio range MAESTRO Probe Unit depends on the
geographical set-up of the Radio Relay and of the Inner
Display, the following points can reduce its good performance:
• a long distance;
• a swimming pool raised above the house;
• the presence of a perimeter wall;
• the materials of the house (reinforced concrete or metal
buildings);
• the support of the Radio Relay (metal stake or galvanized
rainwater downspout).
If after testing different Radio Relay location configurations
the network signal is still too weak or non-existent, place a
second Radio Relay between the technical room and the Inner
Display in order to optimize the signal strength (perform tests
before fixing the elements). Adding an element to the radio
network involves learning it (see Adding a Radio Relay and/or
Inner Display [
