 CHECK AND MAINTENANCE
4. Check points of every 100 hours
1. Check the tension of fan belt at the position (A)
between the fan drive pulley and alternator pulley
with sonic belt tension meter.
NOTE
• If the measurement is out of the service
specifications,
mounting screws and adjust its position.

• If you can not prepare the sonic belt tension
meter, check the fan belt tension by next

a. Push the belt halfway between the fan drive
pulley and alternator pulley at a specified force
to measure the deflection (1).
NOTE
• If the measurement is out of the service
specifications,
mounting screws and adjust its position.

4.4 Checking fan belt damage and
wear
1. Check the fan belt for damage.
(A) Good
2. If the fan belt is damaged, replace it.
3. Check if the fan belt is worn and sunk in the pulley
groove.

4. If the fan belt is nearly worn out and deeply sunk in
the pulley groove, replace it.
