Press in the battery harness by twisting and attach the battery cover.

Set the Battery-related error detection to Use and adjust the CPU Unit's clock data to the
current time.
Refer to the Sysmac Studio Version 1 Operation Manual (Cat. No. W504) for how to make the
setting.
Precautions for Safe Use
• The Battery may leak, rupture, heat, or ignite. Never short-circuit, charge, disassemble, heat,
or incinerate the Battery or subject it to strong shock.
• Dispose of any Battery that has been dropped on the floor or otherwise subjected to exces-
sive shock. Batteries that have been subjected to shock may leak if they are used.

Removing CPU Unit

This section describes how to remove the CPU Unit.
If an NX Unit is mounted, remove the CPU Unit after removing the NX Unit next to the CPU Unit. Refer
to 5-3-11 Removing NX Units on page 5-29 for details on how to remove the NX Units.
Precautions for Correct Use
When you remove a Unit, be careful not to touch or bump the pins in the NX bus connector.

Unlock the DIN Track mounting hook.
Use a flat-blade screwdriver to pull up the DIN Track mounting hook to unlocked position.
