1. Before You Begin
Unpacking

The machine weighs around 145 kg (320 lb.).
•
Six or more people are required to lift the printer. When moving the printer, lift it slowly so that you
do not strain yourself. Lifting the printer forcibly or handling it roughly to drop it will risk injury.
Keep the shipping box in the proper orientation (see arrows on the shipping box).
Remove the poly wrap and strapping.
Remove the top lid, upper foam, and separator sleeve.
Remove the cushioning material.
Place the printer on your table.
IMPORTANT! Do not lift by the platen or platen base, lift from box with the help of 6 people.
Grip the indentations for lifting at the base of the machine's sides with six people or more, as
shown. Lift and carry the machine slowly and carefully.
