1. Before You Begin
When securing the waste bottle with a waste bottle band, use the waste bottle band as shown
below:
The shape and color of the waste bottle band is subject to change.
IMPORTANT! Install the waste bottles vertically. If installed horizontally, the waste ink and waste
enhancer inside could leak out.
IMPORTANT! Connect the waste tubes straight to the waste bottles. If any waste tube is bent or
twisted, ink could become clogged inside the waste tube and thus could cause a
malfunction.
Attach the waste tubes in a way that the ink flows vertically from the printer on top to
the waste bottles at the bottom. If the top-to-bottom orientation is reversed at any
point along the way, the waste ink and waste enhancer may not flow smoothly and
cause a malfunction.
