Place approximately 1 ml of the cleaning liquid drawn using the dropper into the
cap.
After adding approximately 1 ml of the cleaning liquid, release the remaining liquid from the
dropper one drop at a time into the cap until the liquid level is raised slightly above the rim of
the cap when viewed from the side, as shown in the illustration below.
This should be done for all caps.
If bubbles are generated, please use a dropper to suck out the bubbles, as they may not protect
the head properly.
Move the cleaning liquid in the rubber cap under the carriage so as not to spill it.
If it is difficult to check the position of the head, use a mirror to check the position.
When the rubber cap is tilted, the angle at which the cleaning liquid inside the cap spills out is
"left to right: approx. 30 degrees" and "front to back: approx. 10 degrees" when the rubber cap is
filled with cleaning liquid to the target state.
