Locate a Saved Library Configuration
The following options are described in the Spectra T200, T380, & T680 Library User
Guide. Spectra Logic highly recommends that you save your library configuration
settings to a safe location.
Caution
Manual option—Whenever you modify the configuration of the library or a
partition, you have the option of saving the configuration to a USB storage device.
Automatic option—The BlueScale software includes an Automatic Configuration
Save feature which automatically saves the library configuration settings.
If you previously saved the library configuration on a USB storage device, uploaded it
to a file on your computer, or saved it via the Automatic Configuration Save feature in
BlueScale, locate the most current configuration file before beginning the replacement
procedure. You can use your saved configuration to restore the library configuration
after you replace the LCM.
Replacing the LCM
Remove the LCM
1. Power off the library as described in
2. Disconnect any cables connected to the LCM and remove the USB storage device, if
present.
3. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the LCM to the
chassis

4. Pull outward on the handle to slide the LCM out of the chassis.
5. Set the LCM aside for return to Spectra Logic.

Do not attempt to save the library configuration if the LCM is
malfunctioning. Any information saved at this point may be
corrupted.
