Media Lifecycle Management and Hardware Health Monitoring
When you select the Send AutoSupport Ticket
button on the Hardware Health Monitoring
screen, a Configuration Error screen stating that
"You must provide a problem description for a
new support ticket" occasionally displays.
When you select Previous to return to the Ticket
Type screen, the Create a New Hardware Health
Monitor ticket option is grayed out.
A Configuration Error screen stating that "You
must provide a problem description for a new
support ticket." occasionally displays when you
select Send Log Set on the AutoSupport screen.
Selecting Previous takes you to the Ticket Type
screen.

Workaround
Navigate away from the Ticket Type screen and
restart the AutoSupport process.
1. Select Maintenance > AutoSupport to display
the AutoSupport screen.
2. Select Send Log Set to display the AutoSupport
Profiles screen.
3. Select the recipient for the log set to advance to
the Select Ticket Type screen.
The Create a New Hardware Health Monitor ticket
option is now available.
4. Type "HHM Notification" in the Problem
Description field.
5. If you do not need to make any changes to the
contact person's information for this support
ticket, select Next.
Note: If you need to make changes, reference the
Spectra T200, T380, and T680 User Guide.
6. When the Confirm and Submit Ticket screen
displays, verify that all information is correct
and select Submit.
Navigate away from the Ticket Type screen and
restart the AutoSupport ticket process.

the AutoSupport screen.
2. Select Send Log Set to display the AutoSupport
Profiles screen.
3. Select the recipient for the log set to advance to

5. Type a detailed description of the issue in the
Problem Description field including what
happened just before the failure occurred, and
select Next.
6. When the Confirm and Submit Ticket screen
displays, verify that all information is correct
and select Submit.
