Known Issues

Problem
Saving Auto Support ticket does not update
progress bar in progress window.
Moves that are initiated immediately after
creating a partition are not updated in the QIP
because the library has not completed updating
QIP inventory at the time the move is initiated.
When you disable and then re-enable power
consumption monitoring, the library does not
begin capturing data until you power cycle the
library.
With Auto-Configuration Save and MLM
enabled, the wording in the email sent when
you edit a partition is identical to the wording in
the one sent by the Auto-Configuration Save
feature, even though the attached configuration
files are different.
The configuration file sent by the Auto-Save
Configuration feature includes the MLM
database.
The email sent when you save the library
configuration after editing a partition does
not include the MLM database.
An LTO-2 drive will not load a tape using
DCM 3.18 firmware.
BlueScale user interface on library front panel
goes white when attempting to recycle more
than 55 encrypted tapes.
Media Lifecycle Management and Hardware Health Monitoring
When attempting to disable MLM while a tape
is loaded into a drive, the front panel error
message references a drive via a string of
numbers, not the drive number.

Release Notes
General
Be patient. The progress bar does not indicate
changes until it is finished.
Allow sufficient time for the library to update the
QIP inventory after creating a partition.
Power cycle the library to begin capturing the
power consumption monitoring data again.
Examine the zip file attached to determine which
type of configuration file it contains.
Auto-save files are named <date-time>cfg.zip,
where <date-time> is the time stamp for when the
file was created.
Open the zip file sent when you update a
partition and confirm that it contains a number
of configuration files of the format cnnnnnn.cfg,
where n is a number between 0 and 9, are
present.
Tape Drive Firmware
Upgrade the DCM firmware to the current version.
Note: Always update your library to the most
current code available.
Encryption
Recycle encrypted tapes in batches of 55 tapes or
fewer.
Before disabling (or enabling) MLM, make sure
that all of the drives in the library are empty.
