8. Using a pair of needle nose pliers, remove spring clip assembly by pulling straight
out.

Note
NPS 1.5 meter - The thrust washer may remain in the cone but may be loose. Be
careful not to drop the thrust washer. All parts should be cleaned, inspected, and
any part found to be worn should be replaced.
