Driver assistance system
1. Getting ready for exit
(1) With the engine turned on, depress
the brake pedal and shift the gear to P
(Park) or N (Neutral).
(2) Press and hold the Parking/View
( ) button to turn on Parking Assist.
A message will appear on the cluster
and the Parking Safety (
indicator light will illuminate.
• If the engine is turned on when the
gear is in N (Neutral), Exit mode will be
selected. Parking mode will be select-
ed automatically after the vehicle has
been driven.
• Parking Assist is turned off whenever
the engine is restarted. Press the Park-
ing/View ( ) button to turn use Park-
ing Assist again.
