INSTALLATION SITE
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETTING UP THE SYSTEM
The M2 milling unit has been designed for operation in protected and closed areas and
corrosive environments (see technical data).
Do not expose milling unit to direct solar radiation. The resulting temperature differences could
lead to milling inaccuracies. For reasons of accuracy, a constant room temperature of 20 °C must
be maintained.
The milling unit and in particular the electronics installed on the rear side must be protected
against splash water.

For ergonomic reasons, an appropriate working height should be provided. For optimum
accessibility to the processing area, the height of the open front plate must be taken into account.
Work and danger area must be easily visible and lit (at least 500 lux).
The M2 milling unit should be set up in such a way that the mains disconnection (plug) is easily
reached during operation and can be easily disconnected and checked in case of an emergency.
The electrical power supply system must comply with the applicable national standards.
The compressed air connection must be laid and installed by a specialist and must comply with the
