PostBase Vision
Issue
Incoming mail:
date / time missing from the
received mail stamp.
Lost PIN
(administrator PIN).
Lost PIN (user PIN).
PostBase Vision makes
sounds without any apparent
reason.
PostBase Vision suddenly
produces an unusual odour
or generates fumes.
Printed Text / QR Code:
Button "New" is missing.
User PIN not accepted.
Users are missing.
Other errors ...

Possible cause and remedy
The selected received mail stamp does not contain
a date / time stamp.
Select a received mail stamp that prints both time
and date.
The set date is not the current date.
PostBase Vision can only print the time in
combination with the current date.
Select L
PIN.
OST
Follow the prompts in the display.
Contact the system administrator.
Preparing the print system for metering and return-
ing to the sealed position causes these sounds.
They are normal operating sounds, not errors.
Print system overheating.
Immediately unplug the franking system power
plugs from the outlets. Call the Customer Service.
All storage spaces are taken.
Delete printed texts / QR codes you no longer need
(see chapter 11.4, page 101).
Contact the system administrator.
Wrong user selected?
Press B
to get to the user selection.
ACK
Select user and enter PIN.
Setting up / managing users is done via the
customer portal discoverFP.
Synchronize PostBase Vision with the customer
portal (see chapter 13, page 107).
If necessary, contact the system administrator.
If you cannot remedy an error yourself, please
contact the Customer Service.
