MINIFLEX PUMP HEAD REPLACEMENT

If necessary, the Minifl ex pump head can be replaced. Contact Technical Assistance (see
Assistance" on page 5-10) to order the appropriate replacement pump head.
Description:
Replacement Miniflex Single Channel Pump Head
Replacement Miniflex Dual Channel Pump Head
General preparation and required equipment:
• Confi rm you have the correct replacement pump head.
• Remove the pump head from its packaging and inspect for any obvious signs of damage.
• A Phillips head screwdriver is required to remove the pump head fastening screws.
To replace the Minifl ex pump head:
1. Turn the pump head handle counterclockwise to raise the upper section of the pump head.
2. Remove the two fastening screws on the pump head's back plate and carefully remove the pump head.
3. Place the new pump head securely onto the Minifl ex pump drive.
4. Replace the two fastening screws to secure the new pump head to the drive.
5. Load tubing and run a dispense calibration to confi rm the new pump head is operating correctly (for
