IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using the meat grinder please observe the following safety instructions:
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance before using the
appliance.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never
put the appliance or its parts in the dishwasher.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of children or
incompetent persons.
Switch off the meat grinder and unplug it when not using it or during assembly and
disassembly, respectively.
Do not use meat grinder if the power cord or other components are damaged. Should the
cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualifi ed electrician(*).
Only accessories recommended or sold by supplier should be used.
Do not have power cord dangle from working surface and avoid its contact with hot objects.
Do not use meat grinder near sources of heat (cooking tops, grill, oven).
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
Stand the appliance on a stable surface.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and never hang it by the cord. Make sure the
cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not
bend it.
Use meat grinder for household purposes only and in accordance with the operating
instructions.
Do not try to repair meat grinder yourself. For repairs turn to a competent qualifi ed electrician
(*) or to our repair service.
The blade of this appliance is very sharp. Be very careful when cleaning the appliance.
You must keep this appliance clean, as it is in direct contact with food.
This appliance is not made for constant use, you must make breaks regularly.
To clean the meat grinder, use a damp cloth.
(*) Competent qualifi ed electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualifi ed, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid
all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.
Keep these instructions in a safe place.
Caution: The meat grinder is very powerful, which results in a quite important noise level during
use. This noise is normal and does not have any infl uence on the quality of the appliance.

A. ASSEMBLY
Before initial start-up wash blades, disks and removed metal casing in hot soap water. Then
rinse with clear water and dry. Make sure that power switch is in OFF position „0"!
Should the knife and plates be installed little bit tight, operate the meat grinder for 2 minutes
without any food; discharge the knife and plates, rinse and grind some meat (there might be
some metal powder in the meat); rinse; reinstall knife and plates for normal use. Caution: when
installing the knife and plates for normal use, do not install it tight.
Caution: The only way to have the worm turn backwards is to put the switch in „0" position
and to press the reverse switch. To switch off this function, release the reverse switch. You can
now press the ON/OFF switch again. When using the blade, be extremely careful, as it is very
sharp.
1. Tighten the blade casing fi rmly upon the motor block. Hold the casing in one hand. With the
other hand place locking screw for the blade in the side hole of the motor block and tighten
clockwise.
2. Insert long end of worm in the blade casing and twist slightly until tight seat in motor block.
3. Place the blade upon the worm. Rounded side facing worm, sharp side facing perforated
disk. Mincing is impossible unless blade is correctly placed. (see picture 2)
4. Place the desired perforated disk upon the blade. When grinding meat, you should always
use the perforated disc with the biggest holes fi rst. The two retention pins must fi t the grooves
exactly.
5. Tightly screw on the sealing ring. Do not overtwist.
6. Place fi lling neck and the fi lling tray on meat grinder and press it tightly.
7. Put meat grinder on solid, level base. Bottom and lateral motor unit vent holes must remain
uncovered.
8. Put the plug in the power socket.
Your meat grinder is now ready for use.
B. MINCING
1. Cut meat into pieces fi tting in the fi lling neck.
2. Plug and switch on machine.
3. Slowly fi ll meat in the fi lling neck. Push down using pusher. Do not press too hard. Push with
pusher only – never use your fi ngers!
4. Switch off meat grinder after use and unplug.
Depending on the kind of meat, we advise you to insert a break of approximately 30 minutes
after each continuous operation of 15 minutes. The meat grinder minces 5kg of raw meat within
a maximum of 10 minutes.
In case the motor slows down or stops it is possible that the meat blocks the grinder. Switch off
the meat grinder immediately. Press the reverse switch to change the direction of worm rotation.
This makes the meat move in the opposite direction. Then release the reverse switch. You can
now press the ON/OFF switch again. If the grinder blocks again, switch it off, unplug it and
disassemble the attachments of the appliance.
